8 Km of route to realize

The total route of the Caminito del Rey is 7.7 km, of which 4.8 km of accesses and 2.9 km of footbridges.

Regarding the footbridges (the best known part), the distance between the entrance and the exit is 2.9 km, divided between 1.5 km of footbridges and 1.4 km of path or forest track.

The estimated time to complete the entire route (section from the gate of one walkway to the other, plus the trails or forest tracks to reach/exit the area) is about 3 hours.

Visitors must take into account that to reach the accesses of the footbridges must travel a considerable distance as well as the slope of the same.

The excursion includes

• Round trip transportation from the center of Malaga.
• Specialized guide in the Caminito del Rey in Spanish and English.
• Entrance to the Caminito del Rey

Duration of the activity: Around 6 hours depending on the group and physical conditions of the participants.

Difficulty: Medium and Low, you only need to be used to walking.

Requirements: To be in good physical shape to be able to finish the 8 km of the route correctly, and to be 8 years old.

What should the participant bring: We recommend that you should wear closed shoes and appropriate clothing, flip-flop type shoes and heels, prohibited.

We recommend that you bring water and a snack to make the Caminito correctly.

Children under 8 years of age are not allowed in the area. Proof of age documentation will be requested: ID card, Passport or Family Book.

Observations:

• Modification or cancellation free of charge without penalty up to 48 hrs. before the tour.
• In case of no-show at the place previously indicated, or any other incident, the amount of the reservation will not be refunded.
• Only on days of closure due to weather conditions, or closure by the managers of the Caminito, we will refund 100% of your reservation.
• The company will not be responsible for customers who do not respect the instructions of the guide – monitor, or who move away from him/her more than 50 m, since, for safety reasons and in case of an incident, the response time of our staff would not be effective.
• The accident insurance will be covered as long as the clients are accompanied by the guides at a maximum distance of 50 meters.
• People over 70 years of age are not covered by the accident insurance.
• Children under 14 years of age are not covered by the accident insurance.
• The company will not be responsible for changes in the management of tickets or visit to the Caminito del Rey, made by the manager of the Caminito del Rey.
• Plan properly how to get to the meeting point with the guide, before taking your vehicle.
